25 Turns Descent
Strap in for a scenic, high-speed bike ride down the side of Lovcen Mountain.
After picking up our crew of riders, we'll make our way to the starting point in Njegusi. Our guides will give a quick safety briefing and ensure everyone is comfortable on their bike.
We'll snake down the mountainside one turn at a time, with panoramic views of land and sea. Along the way, we'll stop for photos at Kotorblick, Serpentine Road and an old Austro-Hungarian fort.
When we reach the bottom our van will be waiting to pick us up.
Duration - 3 hrs total
Distance - 22km
Difficulty - Easy
All equipment - Giant hybrid w/disc brakes and helmet. We have bikes from XS-XL in size
Transfers in the Tivat/Kotor region.
WHAT TO BRING
Light breathable clothing, comfortable enclosed shoes, sunscreen, hat and water. The air temperature is 3-5 degrees cooler at the outset of the ride so in the shoulder seasons a fleece or windbreaker is recommended.
This is an almost entirely downhill bike ride on smooth, paved roads, suitable for all fitness levels.
However, due to fast riding speeds and sharp downhill turns, we consider a moderate level of road cycling experience essential to avoid potential accidents.
We use adult size bikes so the minimum recommended age is 16. All rider heights must be provided to ensure bikes are properly fitted.
We closely monitor local weather forecasts to ensure your safety and enjoyment.
In the case of bad weather, we’ll try to reschedule the tour as soon as possible, otherwise you'll receive a full refund.
Meet us at one of our meeting points in Kotor or Tivat or we'll arrange a mutually convenient spot before heading to Zanjev Do to start the tour.
We may recommend changes to booked times when to do so would serve to avoid traffic associated with cruise ship times. In such cases we'll contact clients well in advance.
Alternative departure times can be accommodated on request.
